There is nothing I love more than an easy meal that is delicious and healthy. If you follow along on Instagram stories, you’ve probably seen me make this flatbread pizza a few times recently. Get ready to run to your grocery store asap because these make the perfect quickie dinners after a busy day at work or a fun snack on a Saturday afternoon.
It literally is only 4 ingredients and takes no longer than 10 minutes to make. SIGN ME UP !!
What you need to make this easy healthy pizza bomb in your mouth:
Flatbread from your local bakery or La Brea Bakery flatbread is what I get from my grocery store
Jar of this natural marinara sauce
Fresh chopped basil
The great thing about a flatbread is you can totally make it your own. I’m a classic lover—give me cheese, sauce, and bread and I’m as happy as a clam.
To “assemble” the easiest flatbread you’ll ever make in your life:
Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce on the flatbread
Slice up some of the fresh mozz goodness and layer it on there
Sprinkle with the basil
Lay your prize in the oven on just the rack (for that crispy crust!) and let it bake for 5-10 min depending on how cooked you like it.
NOTE: The sauce will drip off of the bread as it heats, so lay a piece of aluminum foil on the rack underneath your flatbread to catch any drippings!
