Get Lost In The Flow at Playlist Yoga

Currently dying inside, because I found the most amazing yoga studio on the planet in LA, and I can’t take it back with me to Atlanta. Introducing, Playlist Yoga.

I found Playlist through one of my Instagram [now real life!] friends, Shayla [check out her blog here.] I’ve been seeing her post about Playlist for months + I’ve been dying to try it out because it’s so different.

Playlist is a 60min vinyasa flow yoga class practiced to the latest beats that are probably on your current playlist… seriously. Think doing downward dog > cobra > up dog poses to Drake, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Kanye, you name it, it’s on the playlist. It makes yoga so much more fun. It’s what we call #PLAYMASTE.

I don’t know about you, but yoga has typically bored me to tears, and so much so I haven’t done it in years. After learning more about this modern, music-based approach to yoga, I had to give it another chance.

 

At Playlist, they believe in a dynamic, upbeat workout that ignites the body and clears the mind. They match your breath to the movement and your movement to the music, all while improving your strength, flexibility, and endurance. #WinningOnAllLevels

Playlist is only located in West Hollywood right off La Cienega Blvd. But I’m crossing my fingers one will appear in Atlanta in the future!

 

After experiencing a small taste of the fitness scene in Los Angeles, I’m so inspired to bring back these vibes to Atlanta. This is a lifestyle. This is about finding that exercise that connects to your mind + your soul + gets you craving to move your body. Exercise + living the fit life doesn’t have to be grueling. It doesn’t have to be cookie cutter. It doesn’t have to be boring.
