What’s better than cucumber sandwiches, girls in bikinis, mimosas, lip-shaped pool floats, and shopping right at your fingertips?
Maybe like… cheese dip. But that’s about it.
A couple of weeks ago I went to a poolside yoga + shopping event at a friend’s house in Atlanta. I mean, gorgeous.
That’s right, we sipped, shopped, and chaturanga’d our little hearts out.
First, the morning started at 10 am with private yoga practice by the pool led by our own little yoga gypsy, Lisa Frappampina, who is a killer yoga instructor at Highland Yoga (my fav! and $30 gets you 30 unlimited yoga days… come on! I love a good deal.)
After cooling down + cleaning our mats, we mixed and mingled and got to know each other. The event was hosted by a couple local influencers Peachfully Chic blog and Erica Bogart Beauty—total babes, check them out. Other influencers, boutique owners, and local businesses were there to kiss cheeks and shake hands. It was a blast and got to know a handful of #bossbabes in Atlanta.
Gianine of Gianine Bikini was the best for opening her beautiful home for this fun party! And I bought 2 of her bikinis that are literally to die for—such cute prints, the cuts are perfect, and I’ve had more compliments on these suits than ever. I bought this snakeskin Brazilian bikini set and this multi-colored cheeky bikini set pictured below. I got a dainty, long gold chained necklace I’m obsessed with from Admiral Row, also pictured below.
Swoozie’s provided the perfect tropical plates + napkins to help assist me with the 25+ mini cucumber sandwiches I polished off. And I’m a sucker for good palm leaf decor anything like these plates. Obsessed. Oh, and I tried cucumber sandwiches for the first time in my life, and I’m officially addicted. SO GOOD. I’ll make a recipe post for you to screenshot because they’re life-changing, I kid you not.
My final dollars went to none other than Cypress & 5th who stole my heart by introducing me to the cutest 2 piece red and white jumpsuit. As soon as I saw my friend Jen (and founder of Cypress & 5th!) in this outfit, I literally handed her my Amex and told her to take all my money and run—100% worth it. Peep the outfit on Jen below, and then go buy one for yourself. My sports bra in this picture is from the China Blue Athletic Set by Cypress & 5th, also.
I wanted to share this event that I was not paid to go to and items I bought and did not receive for free because I love supporting women in business + local small businesses. The owners of these boutiques are friends of mine, and I’m inspired by their hard work to network, grow their businesses, and make a name for themselves in Atlanta and beyond!
