“Let thy food be thy medicine, and thy medicine be thy food.”
- Eliminate Processed Foods: These foods are loaded with preservatives, hygrogenated oiles, artificial ingredients, processed salt, chemicals, and aspartame. Not to mention, processed foods are completely stripped of all nutrients. Do you want your cells to be made up of these “Ingredients”? Didn’t think so. Check out all of the chemicals that are banned in Europe but allowed for us to eat in the USA.
- Drink Water: More than half of the human body is made up of water. This means your body NEEDS a lot of it. As you go throughout the day, your body loses a lot of water and it needs to be replenished. I always try to drink a gallon of water a day. I know it sounds like a lot..but it makes me feel better! Start by increasing water intake daily. If you lack the water your body needs, it can cause you to feel bloated, tired, dehydrated, lethargic, and you could suffer from headaches/migraines. Say “NO” to soda, processed juices, etc..say “YES” to the all natural *and free!* H2O.
- Eat Organic: It can get costly, but eating organic it worth it. Eating locally grown foods or organic foods means you don’t have to worry about hormones, GMOs, pesticides, preservativs–OH MY! If a budget is involved, I would definintely make it a point to make sure meat is organic and/or grass fed, and buy organic vegetables and fruits.
